On Stage at Joe’s is a curated and cultivated season of performances and events, featuring local and national artists, new works, and artists from historical, folk, and world traditions. We employ local artists, offer them showcase opportunities, and present diverse performances that are both representative and apart from the demographics of audiences and the local area.
FREEDOM STORIES
Freedom Stories is a work in progress by Playwright Psalmayene 24 based on William G. Thomas III’s book, A Question of Freedom, which aims to discover the histories, stories, names, and places where freedom from enslavement and oppression began in Prince George’s County.
