Spirit of Summer Series: Kundalika

Joe's welcomes Kundalika back to our outdoor stage on Saturday, September 17th at 7:00 PM!

Kundalika invites you to experience a unique cross-cultural musical conversation called global jugalbandi. Jugalbandi is a traditional Indian classical musical style with lively improvised dialogue between musicians based on pure musical scales.  We have opened up the conversation to include other musical traditions such as bluegrass, jazz, and Manding.  Each of our shows is different, reflecting the vibe in the room that night.  Come make music with us!  Featuring Deep Shenoy, sarod; Uasuf Gueye, djembe; Sachin Khandari, bass; Alex Martin, acoustic guitar; Graham Smith-White, banjo; Ananth Virakthi, Karnatak vocal.
