Looking Glass: Reflections of the Mind by Nootana

Join us for Nootana's 12th anniversary season in an immersive experience at Joe's Movement Emporium, where "Looking Glass: Reflections of the Mind" unfolds the haunting journey of a queen whose life spirals after a series of traumatic events. This original production, directed by Rishi Das, is brought to life with live Indian classical music and dance by Nootana's talented artists. As the story unfolds, a narrator guides the audience through the delicate balance between love, vengeance, and the search for support in the face of overwhelming darkness. The queen's reality shatters, and she confronts her inner demons, with her kingdom's music and dance serving as both witness and solace. The fate of the queen remains a mystery, but her story will leave an indelible mark on all who witness it.

Special thanks to Anitha Deshamudre, Brooke Kidd, Ricardo Quinteros, Gustavo Trejo, Shannon White, and our community of Nootana friends and fans.
