In this (slightly) deranged (new) annual aerial tradition, UpSpring explores what would happen if the Nutcracker took place on Halloween. Zombies, snow ghosts, and sea monsters dance and dangle from the ceiling. Does it make any sense? No! And that's why we love it!

What is UpSpring?
UpSpring Studio LLC provides aerial dance and creative movement instruction to adults (16-60+) of all ages and levels. Classes are taught at Joe’s Movement Emporium in Mt. Rainier, Maryland, just north of Washington D.C.
We work with dance trapeze, aerial silks (aerial fabrics), and aerial hammock (sling). Aerial dance is a wonderful way to maintain fitness and find opportunities for self-expression. Never danced in the air before? No problem! All that is required is a willingness to try something new.
