You are invited to Joe’s Outdoor Performance Series on July 18th at 6:00 pm featuring GET Dance and Teatro La Bolsa in “Dance Diaries”!

GET Dance invites you to travel around the world with Melissa, an adventurous dancer who explores the world through dance. She relates her stories about India, Egypt, Turkey, some Caribbean Islands, Brazil and Colombia, inviting us to learn about the culture and dance of these magic regions.

Experience this special event in person, at a socially safe distance! Masks are required.

About Carolina Hernandez

Carolina Hernández is a dancer from Colombia, with fifteen years of experience in dance. She has performed in Turkey, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil and Ecuador. Also, she has danced in different festivals around the USA. She has experience in Middle Eastern dance, Bollywood, Turkish, Colombian folklore, and Latin dances.

Carolina is the founder and the director of GET Dance Company (Global Expressions Through Dance), located in Rockville, MD, where she teaches Colombian Folklore, Latin American Dances and World Dance for four different projects, GET Dance Colombia, GET Dance Kids, GET Dance Middle East and GET Dance Latino. She also teaches private and group classes of diverse dance styles.
