Sunflxw Salutations is a movement and meditation experience taught by Shaiday Dancy also known as Sunflx. You're invited to enjoy the beautiful vibe created by Sunflx including a mix of delightful aromatherapy, light health-conscious refreshments, tension-relieving practices, and help removing and breaking down your mental blocks.
Each participant will receive a workbook at the beginning of class with special messages and journal prompts. This intentional writing practice will serve as a source of energy through meditation warm-up. After meditation, practitioners will flex, lengthen, and stretch muscles through yoga flows to eventually build and develop a phrase that connects the body and mind.

About Instructor:
Shaiday Dancy, also known as Sunflxw, has been moving and dancing throughout her entire life. She began her training in the Laurel High School Dance Program later going on to study dance at Frostburg State University. A serious foot injury led her to discover the foundational training of yoga and through her personal physical therapy sessions, she found more ways to bring in the discipline and strength of yoga into her dance training. Shaiday received her yoga certification in January 2016 and has been building her flow since then. Shaiday has had the honor of training with companies such as Enkore Dance, Capital Movement, Light, and Sound Dance Theatre, VT Dance Company, and WarrNxLVL. Performing in various shows on different stages such as What’s Going On, Devour the Show, DC Pride Festival, Raw Artists, and other community showcases. Her goal in every class and project is to help everyone find the light and love within themselves.
