Experimental Art is a class that emphasizes process over product, guiding students ages 2-5 (and their caregivers) on an investigation of physicality through art materials, and creating awesome abstract art. Crumpling, tossing, folding, dropping, wetting, rolling, rubbing, turning inside out, and upside down are just some of the ways we will explore physical properties. We will also read books, sing, and dance our way to developing our fine and gross motor skills.
Join us for our 6 week acting course where participants will explore the fundamentals of storytelling, character development, and improvisation. Throughout the course, students will learn to become effective listeners, build social and environmental awareness, as well as confidence and stage presence. Concluding the course, students will present a theatrical presentation displaying characters, monologues, and scenes they’ve developed throughout class.
