Ash Forest Project Reception and Presentation We are Mount Rainier-based photographer Leslie Brice and writer Gabe Popkin. For the past three years, we've documented beautiful wetland forests in Maryland that are threatened by the emerald ash borer. Please join us on Sunday, November 6 from 4 to 6 pm for a reception where we'll share our work and speak about these special places. Joining us will be Andrew Baldwin, a University of Maryland ecologist who studies the transformations of the wetlands. Through our presentation, we hope to open a space for us all to think about how we can become stewards of the wild and natural places around us. Our exhibition featuring Leslie’s photographs, Gabe’s writing and drone imagery taken by Yazan Hasan will run from October 30, 2022 to January 8, 2023. It's free and open to the public.
